Delivering all the benefits of both a 4 dot laser and a cross line laser, the Leica Lino L2P5 is the ideal tool for those who regularly need to mark out and transfer both measured points and lines throughout interior spaces. With the same vertical and horizontal line technology as its little brother, the L2+, the L2P5 also includes a 4 point laser with both vertical and horizontally emitted laser beams.
Like the L2+, the Lino L2P5 has an ultra-wide emergence angle that allows twin axis laser beams to be emitted at 180° from the Lino's case. For the user this means extra long lines stretching further from the device which in turn means quicker, more efficient measuring and fewer setups for each room. Unlike the L2+, though, the Lino L2P5 also includes a four dot laser, ideal for plumbing, cabling and other tasks that require the quick and absolutely precise marking out, threading or cutting of points etc.
By combining both types of handheld laser the L2P5 is not only an incredibly useful tool to have in your arsenal, it's also a fantastic way of saving both time and money.
Thanks to its combination of two perpendicular line and four bi-axial point lasers, the Leica Lino L2P5 covers all bases when it comes to alignment and marking up indoors. Mark out and transfer lines on walls, doors or partitions with ease thanks to the line lasers; transfer measured points quickly and easily for pipework, cable runs or ducting with the dot lasers.
With most tools of this type it's easy to get yourself into a whole world of trouble - you may think that your lines are perfectly aligned but just a 2-3° misalignment could lead to very real issues for your project. The L2P5 features self-leveling technology that senses if the beams/device are out of alignment. If that angle is ±4° the device adjusts itself to bring everything back into perfect alignment. If the angle is greater than 4° it simply won't emit any beams until the user adjusts the device manually - thereby eliminating all errors!
The Lino L2P5 is supplied as standard with a multifunction magentic adaptor that extends its use to all manner of applications and environments. Set it up over the edge of steps, window/door rebates or other edges/profiles; even attach it to steel objects thanks to the magnets or to circular columns. The L2P5 has a 1/4" tripod connector making it ideal for use with the Leica TRI70 Tripod, also available through this site.
Thanks to its advanced optics and electronics, the Lino L2P5 can throw its beams up to 15m away and up to 30m when using the optional laser detector. These lines are all emitted at precisely 90° to each other making interior setting out a cynch.
